Rock climbing in the Pillersee Valley
In Hochfilzen there is an indoor climbing hall where you can practice the first steps of rock climbing. Also there are easy climbing routes for beginners. There is a large climbing area in Waidring and in the Loferer Steinberge.
The climbing regions in the Pillersee Valley:

- Wiesensee
- Halser Grund (especially for beginners)
- and various via ferratas.
