More about our hotel

The hotel was bought in 1930 by Josef Scheffauer. The Metzgerwirt has been in the Scheffauer family for 3 generations now.

Hard work and dignity made the Metzgerwirt what it is now – a fantastic ***+ hotel with the cuisine and ambient of a **** hotel! We, family Scheffauer have invested lots of time, money and engagement to renovate and refurnish our hotel to offer you a perfect stay in our hotel!

Rooms in the hotel Metzgerwirt

Half of our rooms, the dining rooms and the hall have been furnished with pine wood. Studies have shown, that sleeping in a bed made of pine wood guarantees better sleep than in every other bed.

One of our fortes is our excellent food and service – this is proven by our many regulars!

We do not use any readymade products in our kitchen – every meal is prepared with lots of love and dignity.

Rooms and suits

Hygiene & cleanliness are the top priorities in the hotel Metzgerwirt.

The recently renovated rooms were combined to comfortable hotel suits to increase the living quality. We offer you 38 bed, 5 of them being larger hotel suits (separated bed- and living room) for two people which can be transformed into three to four bed rooms in the Superior quality.

A plus for your sleeping quality

Half of our rooms were furnished with fine pine wood. Studies show, that the sleeping quality increases in a bed made of pine wood. This means you will have more energy for your holiday in Fieberbrunn.

The bedrooms include bathrooms with showers and partly bathtubs, toilet, radio, telephone, cable-tv, partly electronic fireplace, flatscreen tv, minibar, minisafe and balcony!

For our younger guests we offer cots and high chairs for free!
